To tell the truth, the best results come from finding an in-between space that tells the client’s story-rather than someone else’s.
Hi, I’m Paige.
I’m a mama, a world traveler, an anthropologist, a quilter, a photographer, a perfectionist, a forager, and a lover of how life’s little details make up the big picture. All of these things contribute to the way I design. I find happiness where the old and the new collide. I believe that each person has their own story, and good design can help cultivate and tell that story in the home.
I have 10 years of active experience in all aspects of home design. Until recently, I worked for the small Steamboat Springs-based design firm Home on the Range. At Home on the Range I learned the ins and outs of the design world from award winning designer Lynne Barton Bier (who also happens to be my amazing mama). In my time there, I completed projects of all kinds and in all kinds of places as part of a two person design team- 10,000 square foot second homes and two bedroom condos, new construction and remodels, ranging from traditional to modern, rustic to coastal, transitional to eclectic, I’ve been there. To tell the truth, the best results come from finding an in-between space that tells the client’s story- rather than someone else’s.
When my mom decided it was time to retire and my husband and I decided it was time to make the leap to something new, we sold our house, bought a fifth wheel, packed up our fam and headed for Alaska. I am such a fan of how technology now allows us to maintain a feeling of closeness no matter our physical distance, so I decided to start Hayes & Co. with the intention of creating a design model that can be completed 100% remotely… but with NO LOSS of one on one personal connection. I call, text and email my clients daily, and am so thrilled to be doing this because so many of them have become good friends.
I have also realized that so many people feel that having help with interior design in their home is out of reach, or not something they think they can afford, and I am here to disabuse everyone of that notion! I am trying my best to create a business atmosphere that is friendly and accessible, while still bringing all of the high dollar skills in my arsenal to the table.
Okay enough about me, let’s talk about you!
