Good Ideas for Communicating With Your Guests
Today I have a few good ideas for communicating with your STR guests! Some you may already have thought of, and some you probably haven’t. I believe if you’re communicating well with your guests, there may be a lot of questions you won’t be answering at inconvenient times. Good communications can also lead to raving reviews. I suggest adding the information below in a notebook for your guests.
While I don’t really enjoy staying at hotels, I do appreciate the information available at many of them. I like that they have a list of restuarants and ones that will deliver. How handy would this be when you’re late getting in to your Airbnb? This is also a nice way to help support local businesses in the area and to be communicating with your STR guests.
Show Your Guests What There is to Do
There are also times when I’m not sure of all there is to do in an area. That’s when I like to look at the brochures in the hotel lobby. I get great ideas for things to do that way. Sometimes I find brochures for attractions I didn’t see online. So, go gather some brochures for attractions and things to do in your area and add them to your information collection!
List Annual Events and Festivities
Many times, when I’m vacationing, I want to know more about the area. Knowing what the annual festivities and events is quite nice. After all, an impromptu outing is always fun.
Give Important Information and Phone Numbers
Of course, it’s imperative to give your guests important information such as emergency phone numbers. Communicating with your STR guests in this manner can also save a lot of headaches in the end.
Put It All Together
First, gather the aforementioned information and put it in a notebook for your guests. Then, place the book where it will be noticed. You could even decorate the book to make it look more interesting! Add a customized cover if you’d like, with the name of your Airbnb on it.
